The ice cream Comptoir
Shortly after the opening of Alain Ducasse’s ice cream factory in the rue de la Roquette, Champeaux generously made some space in its premises to host an ice cream Comptoir. A welcome initiative for all ice cream lovers and walkers in the Halles district!
The Comptoir offers a selection of about ten flavors available either in nomadic individual format or in large format (half-liter and liter). The must-haves are well represented. For example, vanilla, which combines three origins: Mexico for its peppery taste, Tahiti for its sweetness and Madagascar for its finesse. Or chocolate in a sorbet version with chocolate from Madagascar and in an ice cream version with chocolate from Peru. But don’t forget the salted butter caramel ice cream and you must absolutely taste the ice cream that combines pistachio and pistachio praline. The fruits (raspberry, redcurrant, lemon) play a more acidic and very refreshing score.
This selection evolves with the weeks and the imagination of Matteo Casone, the gelatiere of the Manufacture de Glace. So le Comptoir is an address that gourmets visit very frequently!
